Girls school Lukuledi - Progress of renovation
Nach drei Jahren coronabedingter Tansaniaabstinenz konnten wir nun endlich die Mädchenschule in Lukuledi besuchen. Wir waren begeistert, wie schön und funktionell die neu erstellten Gebäude sind und wie gut die sechs alten Gebäude renoviert wurden. Im Moment werden zwei Vorbereitungsklassen unterrichtet. Im Januar 2023 soll dann der Vollbetrieb des Internats beginnen.
After three years of absence from Tanzania due to Corona, we were finally able to visit the girls› school in Lukuledi. We were thrilled to see how beautiful and functional the newly constructed buildings are and how well the six old buildings have been renovated. At the moment two preparatory classes are being taught. In January 2023 the full operation of the boarding school should start.

Die neu gebaute Küche ist sauber, hell und mit drei grossen Kochtöpfen ausgerüstet. Der Mehrzweckraum daneben wird als Speisesaal, Studierzimmer, Outdoor-Klassenzimmer und Versammlungsort dienen.
The newly built kitchen is clean, bright and equipped with three large cooking pots. The multipurpose room next to it will serve as a dining room, study room, outdoor classroom, and meeting space.
Die sanitären Installationen mit fliessendem Wasser bestehen aus einem Toiletten und einem Duschen Trakt.
The sanitary installations with running water consist of a toilet and a shower wing.
Das Laboratorium für Biologie und Chemie ist noch im Bau.
